I'm a 70 year old retired woman who worked most of her life as a paralegal in personal injury/medical malpractice law. I love nature and all wildlife. I treat everyone as a friend unless they are rude and hateful to others. I'm not religious but I do believe we should be tolerant of those who do believe, with one exception. Fundamentalists who ascribe to hate do not deserve the right to practice their religion, but instead should be treated as a hate group and denied their citizenship. I believe that the AKC should be stopped from allowing any more dog breeding propaganda until all the animals in the thousands of shelters and rescue centers have been adopted. I feel the same about all the "throw away cats." There are numerous pure-breed dogs and cats in shelters that need homes. I also believe our government is in serious need of an attitude adjustments. The Joint Chiefs and CIA have been misleading presidents into ugly and unnecessary wars for decades. We don't need to keep dropping bombs on hospitals and schools to "help" people who are already oppressed by tyrannical leaders. Find another way to help them.
